Edible Outdoor Rooms in our little street!
If you live in Sydney and feel like getting your hands dirty the team at Sam Crawford architects have an exciting plan. Edible Outdoor Rooms was conceived from an ongoing project to activate underutilised public spaces within their studio neighbourhood. In Foster St, Surry Hills, concrete pipes will be used as outdoor seating and for harvesting edible plants. Planting by volunteers will give the local community a chance to engage with place and the opportunity to learn and share their knowledge and skills.
